PGA Aviation LLC is pleased to announce that it recently provided comprehensive advisory services to a major institutional client, facilitating the successful acquisition of nine (9) pre-owned A319-100 aircraft from one of the largest state-owned airlines in the People's Republic of China (PRC).

The on-line aviation maintenance related newsletter MRO-Network.com recently solicited PGA's views regarding the potential impact of recently announced Chinese retaliatory tariffs on U.S.-manufactured aircraft components, which they published in an article in their October 9 edition: Chinese Levy Moderate Tariffs on Some Aircraft Parts.

PGA participated as sole arranger and advisor to a US-based aircraft lessor in a recent transaction involving two (2) mid life A319 aircraft.

Aviation Week and Space Technology magazine recently solicited PGA's views on some issues relating to aircraft aftermarket prospects for major leasing companies and MROs in the PRC market, which they published in an article titled Fuel, Yuan Movements May Be More Important Than Trade Conflicts for Chinese Aviation, in the September 11 edition of their on-line Aviation Week Newsletter.

PGA Aviation will participate as a sponsor of the 4th Annual Aircraft Remarketing & Trading Management Forum to be held in Guangzhou, China on September 5-7, 2018, to address issues related to the management of mid-life and end of life aircraft and engine assets in China.

PGA participated as sole advisor to the purchaser in a recent innovative three-way used B737-700 sale transaction involving Chinese lessee/operator, international lessor/seller and US purchaser.

PGA Aviation LLC ("PGA") recently accepted an invitation from UBS Investment Bank ("UBS") to join and participate in a conference call, organized by UBS for its clients, dealing with the outlook for new aircraft demand in China.  PGA delivered a presentation and shared its own independent views on the airline industry in China, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.

The deal is one of the biggest used aircraft sales and purchase transactions to date under the new regulatory requirements recently imposed by the PRC Government for the phasing out of aircraft and aircraft engine assets by Chinese state-owned airlines.
